Max Munson
Proprietor
Max Munson, owner and co-founder of Restaurace
Jáma, brings over 15 years of experience
to the restaurant. Originally from Chicago
where he worked in the Hard Rock Cafe and
Improv Comedy Club, Max currently resides
in Prague with his wife and son. As a sommelier,
wine writer for The Prague Post, and active
member in the Hotel and Restaurant Association
(HO.RE.KA CR) Max continues to expand his
knowledge of wines and the service industry.
Regarding Jáma, Max says "We want
to provide a complete experience: from high
quality food, to friendly service, to a fun,
fast-action atmosphere!" |

Petra
Moravcová
Head Manager
Petra became the Head Manager of Jáma
after years working as a waitress, bartender,
and assistant manager. After graduating from
the prestigious Frantisek Palacky Gymnasium,
and continuing her education in economics,
Petra chose a career in the service industry
and currently leads the Jáma service
team. With her lively temperament and desire
for precision in all things, she seeks to
have her team offer pleasant and quick service
every opening hour of every day! |

Martin
Lev
Chef
Martin became chef in January of 2004 and
has already made an enormous impact on the
quality of food in Jáma. Martin brings
years of hotel-restaurant training and education
to the Jáma kitchen. With experience
in working at the Three Ostriches Hotel, German
Embassy, and as the chef of the fine-dining
Dobromila restaurant, he offers an international
perspective to the 5-member kitchen staff.
Martin specializes in fish and game dishes
and has won cooking awards and has been included
in many gastronomical publications. When it
comes to the Tex-Mex and American cuisine
that has made Jáma famous his motto
is "Once you taste it, you won’t
want it any other way!" |
